FAQs

What can I expect?

You can count on an amazing weekend with 300+ new friends! This year we will be discussing how Jesus awakens us from the distractions of our daily lives and brings us into His love so that we can share it with others. See the Speakers page for more details.

Can I commute?

Yes, you can commute to the Epic Conference. If possible, stay at the hotel because there are rich opportunities to interact with other students and staff after the sessions that we wouldn't want you to miss. And it's a whole lot more fun if you're around for what happens after hours.

What about my meals?

Meals will be included and there is a Starbucks in the hotel. There are restaurants nearby, but it's a bit of a walk.

Is my registration fee refundable/transferable?

No, in a conference there are many financial obligations that we must fulfill ahead of time and the deposit money from the attendees is used for this. Things like reserving and paying for rooms and meeting space in the hotel, renting sound, light and other equipment for the ballroom and printing materials for the conference are all partially covered by this money. Because we base our financial projections on the amount of people who are registered, collecting the deposit shields us from greater financial risk. Thank you for understanding.

Are there any scholarships available for the conference?

Yes! Please contact Michelle Butlig at mbutlig@yahoo.com for an application if you are in need of financial assistance. The deadline to turn in an application is January 1, 2012. Last year we were able to help a ton of students get to conference, so if money is an issue, hurry up and apply!

I don't have transportation. Is there any way I can get a ride?

Ask around on Facebook to see if you can find someone else in the area or someone who could meet you along their route to the conference. Or, recruit 3 other friends to go and carpool together! If you get really stuck, email us and we'll see if we can connect you with someone in your area.

I am unfamiliar with Epic Movement/Campus Crusade for Christ. Where can I get more information?

You can find out about Epic Movement by visiting our national website at www.epicmovement.com or visit www.campuscrusadeforchrist.com for more information on Campus Crusade for Christ.

How do you choose room assignments?

At conference, you'll share a room with three other people. Gather together three friends and check-in together so that you can request to share a room! Or, just put your name down for a random room and make some new friends!
